I am a registered teacher and have taught for many years in the new entrant classroom and in pre-school environments both in Auckland and in London.

 

I have a passion for small children and equiping them with the essential skills and behaviours expected of them as they approach school.

 

We have lived locally for over 10 years, and for the last 3 years have run the Alphabet Art programme for pre-schoolers and their parents at Riverhead Family Church on Monday mornings. 

 

We are really excited as our new venture unfolds, creating a loving ‘family’ experience for all involved; our teachers, parents and children, all yet to come through our doors.

I have observed my wife’s commitment to not only the children she has taught her entire career, but also to our own children during our 20 years marriage.

 

I am thrilled to support her passion and dedication to creating a wonderful, nurturing environment enabling children to thrive and enjoy their early years, while they develop their skills and love of life.

 

We have already welcomed on board excellent staff who share our commitment to children, and we are committed to ensuring we only hire those who totally share our vision for nurturing, quality care as outlined in our philosophy statement.

 

Whilst we are privately owned, we are also supported by an excellent team of business professionals who own or have owned other centres, supporting the governance of our centre and the ongoing development and training of our staff.
